How we met

Iain and Natalia were introduced to each other through a work colleague on a Christmas Night Out in December 2011.

They started messaging to each other using office communicator as Iain was the one setting up Natalia’s computer access at work. He was looking for an excuse to see her so he told her he didn’t manage to set up her badge the first time and made her come through to his office a further two times, explaining a ‘system error’ was to blame but really he just wanted to see her. After a short chat he gave her his mobile number in case she had any other IT related problems but instead she asked him out. They started dating in July 2012 and the rest is history!

Our proposal

Iain took Natalia for a surprise weekend away in Pitlochry to see a truly romantic and magical piece of art, The Enchanted Forest (light and sound event held in Pitlochry). They stayed at a Victorian mansion surrounded by beautiful gardens, woodlands and nature. On Saturday the 8th of October 2016 after their breakfast they took a walk around the gardens. They got to a view point. Natalia was posing for a photo unaware of what is going to happen, when Iain went down on one knee, took the ring out of his pocket and asked her to marry him. She said YES!
